President Pezeshkian Vows to Pursue Equal Fortunes for All
After being endorsed by Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution, in a speech as the 9th President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian vowed to prepare the ground for all Iranian people to enjoy equal fortunes to progress.

Pezeshkian said in his speech that Iran is a united society based on abiding law, and can witness the strengthening of governance and the empowerment of the society through the strengthening of the interaction of the two for bringing progress to the country.
Stressing that pursuing the development policies of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution is on the new administration agenda, President Pezeshkian said that in case the policies are operationalized the country will reach a top point, which is possible only through national unity.
"If we put aside all the differences origination from ego and move within the framework of politics and vision [the country's progress], we would be where we would deserve to be now, so, it is our unity and that can bring us to our original status."
The new president then put his emphasis on the social capital of the Iranian nation and their satisfaction and noted that serving the people must be on top of the agenda of all of his cabinet members while practicing care about the state's treatment of the people.
He emphasized that partisan approaches and supporting certain ethnicities or parties must be strongly avoided in his administration.
There again, he emphasized the national unity in the country and pledged to pursue serving the nation based on fairness and justice.
Pezeshkian, 69, was elected as the ninth president of Iran after the votes of the July 5 presidential runoff counted. The heart surgeon, won 16,384,403 votes while his rival Saeed Jalili stood behind him with 13,538,179 ballots.
