Iran's Pezeshkian Hopes for Expansion of Iran-Iraq Economic Relations
During the meeting with the President of Iraq, Iran's President said that it is necessary to form a union of Islamic countries and called for the expansion of economic agreements between Iran and Iraq.

Pezeshkian called for moving towards removing the borders of Islamic countries, similar to the experience of the European Union.
Iran's President expressed his hope that financial and economic agreements and cooperation for the development of security and regional stability between the two countries will be expanded.
Stating that the strengthening of unity among Islamic countries will lead to the ineffectiveness of sanctions, Pezeshkain stated: "Unity among Islamic countries will dry up the roots of Zionist terrorism."
