Iran’s presidential candidates have attended the second of two debates which centered on a host of issues related to the economic situation in the country including sanctions, inflation and their foreign policy priorities.

Former head nuclear negotiator, Saeed Jalili and former health minister, Masoud Pezeshkian, hold campaign rally ahead of the runoff election to be held on Friday July 5.

The two presidential candidates Saeed Jalili and Masoud Pezeshkian discussed the cultural issues and Iran’s foreign policy on their first of the two debates ahead of the Friday runoff election.

The vote counting has begun in Iran’s snap presidential election since early hours of Saturday after the polling station closed at Saturday midnight.
