“Muslim scholars mandate support for Palestine”, Iranian Sunni scholar

The Chairman of the Supreme Council at World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought expressed hope that the entire world of Islam would rise in support of Palestinians and liberation of their land.

Molavi Es’haq Madani, speaking at the second webinar of the 38th Islamic Unity Conference warned that the enemies of Islam magnify the minor issues to impede our unity in support of Palestine, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said,” The minor disagreements among the different Islamic denominations do not trouble Muslims but enemies magnify these trivial issues in order to spark clashes among us and impede our way to take giant steps.”
 
The senior cleric said the disagreements among Islamic denominations are on less important issues; hence, they should not spark any conflict within the Islamic nation.
 
Molavi Es’haq Madani made the remarks in an address to the Shia and Sunni elites attending the first webinar of the 38th Islamic Unity Conference on the Islamic cooperations which is this year focused on resolving the issue of Palestine.
 
More than 200 Muslim thinkers, activists and professors exchange views in webinars held concurrent with the Islamic Unity Week that marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), 14-20 September.
