On Thursday, the Israel regime warplanes targeted the Iranian Red Crescent Society -IRCS- a makeshift hospital on the border between Lebanon and Syria that Iran set up earlier this month.
Baghaei described the Israeli attack as a clear example of war crime and reminded prohibition of targeting hospitals according to all well-known international humanitarian laws and regulations.
"The repeated attacks by the occupying regime against hospitals and medical centers in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria are a clear sign of the Zionist regime's rebellion against all international norms and standards, Baghaei said, stressing the necessity for a clear reaction and response from the International Committee of the Red Cross and other relevant International human rights organizations.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman emphasized the necessity of mobilizing the international community to assist hundreds of thousands of Lebanese refugees who are displaced after the Zionist regime's attacks.
Baghei said providing immediate assistance to refugees is the responsibility of the United Nations, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, and the Red Cross.
Following intensification of Israeli attacks on Lebanon (since September 23) the Iranian Red Crescent Society had set up a field hospital on the border of Lebanon and Syria on October 4.
On Thursday, the IRCS's center was targeted by Israeli regime warplanes and burned down in the fire.
Pir Hossein Kolivand, the head of the IRCS condemned Israel's attack at the IRCS field hospital as an active and leading member of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
