‘God Almighty granted human dignity to all people’
The president of Iraq’s Ahlul Bayt University calls human dignity as a gift God Almighty has granted to all people regardless of their religion or school of thought.

Hamid Abd Jawad Mohammed Najdi, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) conducted on the sideline of the international conference on “Human Dignity and Family Challenges in Modern World” in Mashhad said few meetings or social gatherings discuss topics like human dignity or women’s rights.
He hailed the conference organized by Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought as a unique meeting on the topic expressing hope that more events are held for the intellectuals and experts discuss human dignity.
Several prominent Muslim scholars and professors from across the world of Islam attended the conference held in Iran’s northeastern holy city.
The first meeting of the international conference on ‘Human Dignity and Family Challenges in Modern World’ comes as part of a three-day event hosted by the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.
Two other editions of the conference will be hosted by Turkey and Iraq.
The Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, said the network of academics and university professors attending the conference will be expanded to other Islamic countries in near future.
