Araghchi underscored the shared understanding among regional players that "no one benefits from another war in Syria." He added, "Without a doubt, the ongoing clashes will result in the spread of terrorism throughout the region surrounding Syria."

The Iranian Foreign Minister reaffirmed Tehran’s unwavering support for Syria’s people, government, and armed forces in combating terrorism. “Iran stands, as always, with Syria in its fight against terrorism and is prepared to assist in reducing regional tensions through dialogue and diplomacy,” he said.
Araghchi's remarks come amid a series of high-profile diplomatic meetings. On Monday, he met with his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, in Ankara to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments. The ongoing Syrian crisis was a central focus of their talks.
On Sunday, Araghchi held talks in Damascus with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, reiterating Tehran’s comprehensive support for Syria in its fight against terrorism. He stressed the importance of backing the Syrian government, people, and military in restoring stability to the war-torn nation.
Araghchi's shuttle diplomacy highlights Iran’s strategic role in addressing regional challenges and its commitment to fostering dialogue as a means of de-escalating tensions.
