Sayyids contributing to expansion of Islamic teachings

A Turkish thinker has highlighted the role of Sayyids (antecedents of Prophet Mohammad) in expansion of Islamic teachings and protection of Islam.

Sayyed Rizvi, speaking at the 3rd Convention of Sadat held by Iran, said a third of the population in Turkey are followers of Ahlul Bayt (AS), household of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) most of them from Khorasan region, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

The Iranian capital Tehran hosted the third convention of Sadat that converged hundreds of the descendants of the prophet of Islam on Thursday morning.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Mohammadreza Mirtajeddin, in his speech at the second panel of the meeting, called the holy book of Islam and Ahlul Bayt (AS) as the paths towards the Almighty God.

He denounced those distancing from holy Qur’an and Ahlul Bayt (AS) for deviation from the path of God Almighty and said,” What we see today is the Takfiri (excommunication groups) who are fighting with other Muslims rather than with the Israeli regime.

Fatemeh Farahat from Lebanon hailed the late leader of Hezbollah resistance movement, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah as a “father, trainer and political figure” of the Lebanese nation whose soul will never leave them.

Also from Lebanon, Wafa Hashem lauded Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah as a person who brought up a generation of brave Lebanese people and revived the honor of the country.

Fatemeh Azadimanesh from Syria said,” The antecedents of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) played a key role in the ongoing developments in Syria” and added,” Sayyids are bravely standing up in defense of their country and the sanctities there.”
