Israeli forces kill 2 Palestinians in Gaza in violation of ceasefire
Israeli forces carried out fresh attacks targeted the civilians in the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah despite a ceasefire agreement in effect between the regime and Hamas resistance movement.
Local officials confirmed that in the latest of such attacks two Palestinians were killed fearing that the number of fatalities could rise.
One of the victims was a Palestinian child killed in al-Matar area, east of Rafah city.
In another attack, according to the Israeli military sources, the regime troops and tanks opened fire on the civilians.
Medical sources announced today that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 48,291, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli occupation aggression on October 7, 2023.
Meanwhile, the number of causalities surged to 111,722, while thousands remain missing.
It is noteworthy that the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip entered into force on January 19, and since its entry, several civilians were killed and dozens of others injured in various parts of the Strip.
Israel has been accused of a series of violations to the Gaza ceasefire agreement, from attacking Palestinians in the enclave to obstructing the flow of aid.
