Huj. Shahriari issues message on Persian New Year 1404

The Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has issued a message on the beginning of the Persian New Year as the ancient Nowruz coincides with the spiritual Qadr Nights.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari made the remarks in a message on his social media X, previously known as Twitter, to express good wishes for all Iranians who mark the beginning of the Persian New Year, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The cleric said,” The coincidence of the Persian New Year, Nowruz, with the auspicious Qadr Nights promises the symmetry of rejuvenation of nature and renewal of humanity.”
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari expressed deep wishes for “a year full of blessings and privileges, health and prosperity for all fellow Iranians.”
 
This year the Persian New Year, known as the spring of nature, has coincided with Ramadan which is known as spring of Qur’an, two precious events among Iranians.
 
The Persian New Year has been marked solemnly due to the symmetry of the New Year celebrations with the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali (AS), the first Shia Imam and cousin of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
 
Many Iranians across the country have marked the beginning of the Persian New Year in a spiritual ambiance at holy shrines and martyrs’ cemeteries.
