"Israeli" ambassador to United Nations Ron Prosor warned any state from voting for the recognition of Palestinian state, adding that "it will bear the responsibility, because this step will lead to violence and instability".

Prosor fired this warning before the General Assembly at the United Nations during the periodic debate on the situation in the Middle East and the Palestinian cause.

He attacked the Security Council, considering it as focusing on a single in the region, meaning the "Israeli"-Palestinian issue, calling this council "blind to what is happening in the Middle East", while the "Israeli" envoy focused on what is going in Syria and claimed that "Iran as seeking to acquire nuclear weapons".

The Zionist ambassador stated about the subject of settlement, describing the claim of the Palestinians that the settlements are the main obstacle to peace, by a distortion of history, and accused them of taking the subject as an argument for not returning to the negotiating table, and considered that the real barrier that face peace, is "the right of return and non-recognition of the Jewishness of Israel", adding "the Palestinian leadership do not clarify to the Palestinians that this right is just a dream, because "the right of return would mean the destruction of Israel".
