CIA has hands in large Lebanese events

Lebanese MP Hassan Fadlallah considered that Washington's recognition of the existence of an intelligence office in Beirut is a clear confession of the serious assault on national sovereignty.

During a press conference in the Lebanese Parliament this afternoon MP Hassan Fadlallah said: "The US recognition of presence of CIA in Beirut and exercising acts of spying on Lebanon is a clear recognition of the serious assault on Lebanese sovereignty and national security, and of breaching international law and the Charter of the United Nations especially that the intelligence of this station is U.S. embassy-based and managed by U.S. officers posing character of diplomacy and move by diplomatic cars. "

Fadlallah added "US failure discloses the size of the resistance’s intelligence achievement against U.S- “Israeli” espionage."

Fadlallah expected that "the U.S. intelligence has hands in large Lebanese events."

Lebanese MP called the Lebanese people and governmet to stand against this aggression.
"US intelligence assault on our country requires immediate action from the government; All Lebanese must have a clear and explicit position against this aggression." He said
