The president of the "Arab Unification Party", former minister Wiam Wahhab, attacked the Chairman of the Arab committee in charge of follow-up the Syrian issue, the Qatari Foreign Minister Hamad bin Jassim, "who talked extensively about the will of the Syrian people."

"We will not discuss what the Syrian people wants , because we are convinced of the need to hold elections in Syria to determine what the people wants, But we ask Hamad bin Jassim about what the people wants in his country and the Persian Gulf nations in general," Wahhab said in a statement issued by his press office today.

In a statment released on its behalf today, the Meeting considered that "Qatar seeks to play a role in the region on behalf of the US after the failure in Iraq, pointing out that Hamad bin Jassem wants to punish Syria for its pan-Arab role, and he is playing a role which serves the interests of the international Zionism and the US.

In turn , Lebanese Nasserites Independent Movement reiterated rejection of foreign interference in Syria's internal affairs.

The leadership of the Movement said in a statement that the real danger that is threatening Lebanon and Syria is what some foreign-backed Lebanese sides are trying to implement through constructing the so-called camps to ' the displaced Syrians ' in north Lebanon which will be used to commit more massacres and sabotage against the Syrian and Lebanese people.
