Means of boosting-up Lebanese-Iranian bilateral and cultural relations featured high Tuesday on talks between Lebanese Culture Minister Gaby Layyoun and the Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Gazanfar Roknabadi.

They touched upon the Iranian Culture Minister's anticipated visit to Lebanon next week at a Muslim-Christian dialogue conference.

"We also discussed the possibility of drafting a cooperation agreement between both countries' cultural and cinema sectors, as well as executive steps towards an Iranian cultural week in Lebanon next May," Roknabadi said.

Layyoun for his part, welcomed the planned visit of Iranian Minister of Culture to Lebanon.

"We also discussed cultural issues and noted the need for cultural exchange between the two countries," he said.
