Iranian cleric: Quds Day is influential symbol for unity among Islamic Ummah

A member of the Supreme Council of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought said: Quds Day is an effective symbol in the issue of unity among the Islamic Ummah. Common topics such as Quds as the first Qibla of Muslims and other holy places are central to the Islamic Ummah of every sect and religion.

 Maulvi Salami added: The Islamic world should use all the tools that can help in the liberation of the holy city and show the oppression of the Palestinian people and turn their minds and thoughts to this issue.
 
The cleric noted: The last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan was designated by the founder of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini as Quds Day for Muslims and free people of the world should come to the scene and organize a march and stage protest against the Zionist regime, declaring their disgust with the Zionist child-killing regime and their support for the land of Palestine and Holy Quds.
 
Maulavi Nazir Ahmad Salami stressed: The Islamic Ummah must declare its disgust with the usurper Israel in every possible way and will issue this warning to the regional supporters of the Zionist regime and global arrogance.
