Hezbollah says it hit Israeli military intelligence base in occupied Golan Heights

In a statement, the group said its fighters “launched an aerial attack with successive swarms of explosive drones on the long-range technical and electronic observation post on Mount Hermon in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights.”
The statement added that "the drones hit the domes of the center and its espionage and intelligence equipment, leading to the destruction of the targeted devices and a large fire breaking out."
Hezbollah noted that the attack came "in response to the assault and assassination carried out (on one of its members) by the Israeli enemy yesterday in the Bekaa region.”
There was no response from the Israeli side regarding Hezbollah's statement.
On Saturday, a Hezbollah member was killed in an airstrike carried out by an Israeli drone that targeted a car in the town of Chaat in the Bekaa region of eastern Lebanon, according to local media and a statement from the group.
Tensions have soared along Lebanon’s border with Israel amid cross-border attacks between Hezbollah and Israeli forces as Tel Aviv presses ahead with its deadly offensive on the Gaza Strip, which has killed more than 38,100 people since Oct. 7 last year.
