Massive global protests mark one year of Israeli atrocities in Gaza
People in different countries across the globe have taken to the streets marking the first anniversary of the Israeli atrocities leaving a trail of death and destruction across the besieged Gaza Strip.

Large-scale protests erupted across major U.S. cities over the weekend, marking one year since the onset of the ongoing Israeli genocide against the Palestinian people.
Demonstrations took place simultaneously in cities such as New York, Rochester, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, and Dallas, reflecting widespread discontent with ongoing Israeli military attacks in Gaza.
Human rights, humanitarian, and community organizations supportive of the Palestinian cause participated actively in the protests. A notable gathering occurred outside the White House in Washington, where activists urged President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris to implement an arms embargo on Israel to halt the atrocities against innocent civilians.
In Cape Town, South Africa, also a massive demonstration took place as participants commemorated the one-year anniversary of the ongoing Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip.
Approximately 60,000 participants gathered to express their solidarity with the Palestinian cause, waving Palestinian flags and chanting slogans condemning the Israeli occupation and the relentless atrocities in Gaza.
Protesters voiced their support for South Africa's legal action against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ). As part of their efforts, demonstrators submitted a petition to the South African Parliament, calling for the establishment of a parliamentary unit to combat the Israeli apartheid system.
