"This nightmare must stop," he added.
The UN Secretary-General stressed that "we cannot continue to turn a blind eye" to what is happening in the Strip.
Video footage documented the Israeli occupation army directly targeting an ambulance in front of Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip, where the occupation is continuing its genocide and ethnic cleansing measures.
Medical sources reported that the occupation forces opened heavy machine gun fire at an ambulance in front of Kamal Adwan Hospital, with its driver inside.
They added that the use of ambulances in the northern governorate is almost rare, as most of them are out of service due to repeated targeting, in addition to the fuel shortage, which makes it impossible to use the remaining ones or what is being repaired (between one or two vehicles that only move around the hospital).
Earlier yesterday, the occupation army withdrew from Kamal Adwan Hospital after an hours-long raid during which it detained staff and patients and forced those present to leave.
The army also forced an Indonesian medical team, the only one that was performing surgeries inside the hospital, to evacuate, as it was evacuated via an ambulance belonging to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.
The storming of the hospital came after a bloody night in the town of Beit Lahia, following the occupation's intensive targeting of a number of inhabited homes, which resulted in the killing of about 30 Palestinian citizens.
