Over two thousand academics in Germany has called on the Minister of Education and Scientific Research to resign over attempt to sanction researchers supporting pro-Palestine student rallies.
Minister Bettina Stark-Watzinger has come under growing criticism after media reports revealed that her ministry initiated a legal review last month to examine the open letter released by these scholars, and the possibility of dropping funding for their studies.
Despite the heavy burden placed on medical personnel who opted to resist evacuation orders issued by the Israel occupation forces, they explained, their “resilience” has saved “many” patients. “Many suggest [that] these clinicians should receive the Nobel Peace Prize.”
