Ahmad Vahidi, Iranian Interior Minister at the sideline of the cabinet meeting on Wednesday told reporters that on Thursday or Friday, he will meet the Iraqi interior minister and they will have a joint visit to Iran-Iraq borders.

This year's Arbaeen is on 26 Shahrivar 1401(in Iranian calendar), and Iranian pilgrims are greatly eager to participate in the Arbaeen march this year due to the reopening of land borders for the first time after the Covid-19 lockdowns.

Ahmad Wahidi and the accompanying delegation met with General Bajwa at the Pakistan Army Headquarters in Rawalpindi.
