Israeli air forces have launched fresh attacks on Aleppo International Airport early on Tuesday putting a key entrance of the humanitarian aid out of service.
On Tuesday, a pile of rubble near the Citadel was all that was left of a structure identified by local architect, Mohammed Al-Rifaei, as the "sheep tower", which he said had stood there until the devastating early morning quake.
"Eight F-16 tactical fighters of the Israeli Air Force, without entering Syrian airspace, struck with eight guided missiles and eight guided air bombs at the facilities of the Nairab (Aleppo) and Duwali (Damascus) airfields. Three missiles were destroyed by the duty air defense forces of the Syrian Arab Republic," Maj. Gen. Oleg Egorov said at a briefing....
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has visited Aleppo for the first time since liberation of the northwestern province from grip of Takfiri terrorist groups to inaugurate economic projects in the region.
