The Commissioner-General of the UN agency for Palestinians (UNRWA) has expressed concern about the risk of diseases such as cholera spreading in the war-stricken Gaza Strip.

Cholera cases show concerning increase causing fears that the infectious disease might turn into a serious challenge for thousands of displaced Syrians in Idlib camps.

Sherafat Zaman told Iran Press in an interview that the symptoms of cholera in the provinces have been identified and the ministry of health put taking special measures on the agenda, including the issuance of the necessary recommendations.
