The Foreign Ministers and Deputy Foreign Ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO)Council of Ministers (COM) participated in the 28th meeting of group in Iran’s holy city of Mashhad. Attended by Iran's Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, the meeting opened on Tuesday.
Baghaei added that ministers and senior officials of the ECO member countries, along with the directors of regional specialized organizations and the secretaries-general of some multilateral economic organizations, will participate in the meeting, which will be chaired by Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian voiced the country’s readiness to share its knowledge-based achievements with the member states of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).
Iranian Foreign Ministry said the country prioritizes the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) in line with expansion of its economic relations in the region.
The Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) was initially established in 1984 with the participation of three countries, Iran, Turkey and Pakistan, under the Izmir Treaty, with the aim of raising the economic standard of living of the people of the region.
Roohollah Latifi said: "This year, Iran's trade with ECO member countries has reached more than 13 billion and 110 million dollars and weighs 24 million 758 thousand and 827 tons, which shows an increase of 41% in value and 25% in weight compared to last year."
According to Mehdi Safari, the ambassadors of the member states of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) and the Secretary-General will come to Bandar Abbas in early March.
