In a post on the X platform, Kazem Gharibabadi, the Deputy Chief of Iranian Judiciary for International Affairs and the and Secretary General of Iran's High Council for the Human Rights, announced the freedom of Hamid Nouri.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian met with Swedish ambassador to Tehran urging Stockholm to respect the basic rights of Iranian citizen Hamid Nouri who has been jailed and convicted in the European country.
The association's letter was released after the indictment of Hamid Nouri, an Iranian citizen in a Swedish prison, addressed to the Swedish Ambassador to Tehran, Mattias Lentz.
Kazem Gharibabadi said on Sunday: "The arrest of Hamid Nouri, an Iranian national, at Stockholm airport (November 9, 2019) indicates collusion between the Swedish judiciary and the MKO terrorist outfit."
