US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar introduced a new resolution on Thursday that condemns Islamophobia globally and commemorates the 2019 Christchurch mosque shooting that left more than 50 Muslim worshippers dead in New Zealand.

US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar has warned of endeavors by the Republican House minority leader Kevin McCarthy to remove her from the House Foreign Affairs Committee accusing McCarthy and the Republican Party of attacking her with “Islamophobia and racism”.
