In a meeting with Raul Castro, the former president of Cuba, on Thursday evening, local time, during his visit to the country, Ayatollah Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi said "Today, the political relations between Iran and Cuba are at the highest level".
During the 18th meeting of the Iran-Cuba Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation, Bahram Eynollahi said that the participation of officials from the two countries in the new event proves a strong will to shore up economic ties and jointly neutralize the sanctions imposed on the two nations.
