Iranian President, Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi, heading a delegation of high-ranking officials were welcomed by Venezuelan President, officials and people. The two sides signed 19 agreements for bilateral cooperation in different fields.
Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi and his Venezuelan counterpart Nicolas Maduro have announced decision to boost the bilateral trade ties between the two countries to 20 billion dollars on the first leg of the Iran’s top official tour of three Latin American countries.
During his visit to Caracas, Minister of Oil Javad Owji, in a bid to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Iran and Venezuela in the upstream and downstream sectors of the oil industry, in the presence of Delcy Rodríguez, the Vice President of Venezuela, signed numerous documents and memorandums with his Venezuelan counterpart.
Maduro made the comments early on Saturday in a meeting with Amirabdollahian in Venezuela’s capital Caracas in which the two senior officials discussed various issued in bilateral and international relations.
In a meeting with the Venezuelan minister of land transport and the head of the Iran-Venezuela joint economic commission in Tehran, Mehdi Safari, called for the expansion of comprehensive ties between the two countries.

Heading a high-ranking delegation, Nicolas Maduro arrived in Iran on June 10, at the official invitation of the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi to discuss bilateral ties.
