“Israeli prison authorities continue to starve more than 9,100 detainees, including women, children and sick,” the Palestinian Prisoner Society, a local NGO, said in a statement on Monday.
The Director of the Palestinian Prisoners Information Office, Ahmed Al-Qudra, called on the revolutionary Palestinian youth in the West Bank to "ignite points of confrontation with the Zionist regime occupation," on Friday in protest against the brutal attack against Palestinian prisoners.
In a press statement, Khoury denounced the measures taken by the Israel Prison Service against the prisoners, including strict solitary confinement of many of them and the confiscation of electrical appliances from the rooms in several sections in the various prisons.
The Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) told WAFA that dissolving the organizational bodies means that the prison administration becomes obliged to deal with prisoners as individuals, and not through the organizations representing them.
