Two people have died in a shooting incident that took place in front of the US consulate in the Saudi port city of Jeddah.

Iran has officially reopened consulate in the Saudi port city of Jeddah following months of talks and an agreement for resumption of diplomatic relations with the Arab kingdom.

Streets in Jeddah have been inundated following heavy rain as Saudi officials issued weather warnings across the country.
