The United Nations has rejected to withdraw its condemnation of the recent Israeli onslaught against the West Bank city of Jenin which has left dozens of Palestinians dead and wounded.
At least four Palestinians have been killed and a dozen more injured as Israeli aircrafts and ground forces launched overnight raid on the West Bank city of Jenin.
“I am deeply alarmed and saddened by the continuing cycle of violence in the occupied West Bank. The deaths today of nine Palestinians, including militants and one woman, during an Israeli arrest operation in Jenin is another stark example," Wennesland said in a statement.
MoH said Ahmad Mohammad Daraghmeh and Mahmoud as-Sous, both 17 years old, were shot dead by live shots in the head and neck respectively, while 11 others were injured by Israeli occupation forces during the Israeli raid on Jenin and its refugee camp. "This [Israeli] crime and other previous repeated Israeli crimes and acts of aggression against the Palestinian people require investigation and accountability before the International Criminal Court," the OIC said in a statement.
Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has reacted to recent carnage at Jenin refugee camp and vowed that struggles against Tel Aviv regime will continue until withdrawal of occupiers from the Palestinian lands.
