The Leader of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, has congratulated Iran’s national wrestling team over winning of the Asian Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship.

Representative of the Leader in Hajj affairs, Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Abdul Fattah Navvab, has met with Atabayev Samieddin, head of Kyrgyzstan Hajj affairs on the sideline of the Hajj 2023.

Heads of Hajj affairs from Iran and Kyrgyzstan met at the bureau of the Islamic Republic in Mecca to discuss the ways for expansion of mutual cooperation between the two countries.

Spokesman for Iran’s Foreign Ministry has expressed concern over the recent clashes erupted between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan urging both sides to follow peaceful means.

The Islamic Republic of Iran was one of the first countries to recognize Kyrgyzstan's independence after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

"I am confident that given the positive developments in bilateral interactions in recent years and the potential capacities that exist between the two countries, we will have a very bright future ahead of us.”

Turdakun Sydykov made the remarks in a meeting with the mayor of Mashhad that his country attaches great importance to the expansion of relations with Khorasan Razavi province, and especially with Mashhad city.
