At least eight people including a child have been killed in the latest round of Israeli strikes on southern Lebanon.

The leader of Lebanon-based Islamic group, who was also a commander of Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, has been killed in an apparent assassination drone strike by Israeli regime.

In a statement, it confirmed that it would continue “to destroy enemy strongholds” to complete the second phase of its operations and to “support our people in Gaza and Rafah.”
