Demonstration in Tokyo brings people from various backgrounds together to demand Palestinian freedom

Education and Research Minister Bettina Stark-Watzinger announced Sunday the dismissal of Sabina Doring, the undersecretary responsible for higher education.

The police in the German capital Berlin has clashed with protesters against the Israeli attacks on Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. People have accused Berlin police of racism.

Despite the ban, several hundred pro-Palestinian demonstrators gathered in central Paris in separate groups that police forces sought to keep from merging.
