“The country really is galloping towards the edge of an abyss,” Brik said in an opinion piece published by Israeli daily, Haaretz.

“Despite our full commitment to stop the aggression on our people, we are prepared for a long war of attrition with the enemy,” Abu Obeida, spokesman for Al-Qassam Brigades, said in a video message.

In an interview with Israel’s Channel 13, Brik explained that the Israeli army needs immediate rehabilitation and to increase the number of ground forces.
