The Palestinian resistance movement Islamic Jihad has said the recent sanction slammed by the European Union (EU) is in line with supporting Israeli regime.

In its latest statement, the Palestinian movement has stressed that the new sanction announced by EU has no value as it is issued in support of the Zionist Israeli regime, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Islamic Jihad has condemned the European decision as a “political cover up” for the holocaust of the Palestinian nation calling that another support, besides the military and intelligence boosting of the Israeli regime in defiance of the Europeans’ call for ceasefire in Gaza.
 
“Palestinian resistance movements defend the rights of a nation whose land has been looted and plagued by all forms of massacre and genocide during the past 75 years” said part of the message by Islamic Jihad.
 
Islamic Jihad vowed that it will maintain its responsibility to defend the rights of Palestinians until victory and liberation of the Palestinians.
 
The European Union has introduced a framework of restrictive measures against any individual or entity supporting the Palestinian resistance movements Hamas and Islamic Jihad.
