Takfir, biggest threat against Islamic nation: Sunni scholar
Iranian Sunni scholar warned against Takfir (excommunication) as the biggest threat for the Islamic nation saying that the plague would prevail if not contained.

Akhoond Nasser Ghezel, Sunni prayer leader of Qazan Qayeh in Iran’s Province of Golestan, called for containment of Takfir calling that the biggest jeopardy challenging the Muslim nation, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said the issue of Takfir can bring harm to heart and nature of man and future of the Islamic nation and that the plague will expand in more damaging aspects in its expansion.
Manager of the Qazan Qayeh seminary referred to the efforts of the enemies to weaken the power of Islamic countries and said,” One of the greatest achievements of the policy followed by enemies is to guarantee the security of the Zionist regime in the region.”
He added sectarian strives and dividing Shia and Sunni communities as a major strategy followed by enemies of Islam.
Akhoond Ghezel called violence as one of the most popular features for Takfiri movements and said,” No matter what religion do the people follow, they are indiscriminate victims of the Daesh Takfiri terrorists who kill all in cold blood.”
He said,” Daesh recognizes anyone different from itself as a deviate out of religion.”
Iranian Sunni prayer leader warned against creation and expansion of religious allegations as a threat of Wahhabi thought and stressed,” This group reject anything which is unanimously approved by all Muslims as an Islamic principle and propagate their own thoughts as the monotheist ideologies of Wahhabism in order to attract the people.”
The cleric reiterated,” Expansion of Wahhabi-inspired allegations is a serious threat which should be resolved by Muslims.”
According to Akhoond Qezel Wahhabi view respecting Islamic holy sites is a manifest of atheism; therefore, they should all be destroyed.”
