British Foreign Secretary reaffirms support for JCPOA

In the second telephone conversation of Iranian FM Zarif and UK Foreign Secretary Johnson in the past days, the British diplomat reaffirmed Britain’s support for the nuclear accord.

British Foreign Secretary, Boris Johnson, reaffirmed UK’s support for the JCPOA (the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action also known as Iran nuclear deal signed between Iran and 5+1 group countries on July 14, 2015 in Vienna) during the telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Sunday, reported the public and media diplomacy office of Iranian ministry.

During the conversation over the phone line which was the second dialogue of the two diplomat over the last couple of years, the British diplomat also called all signatories of the agreement to be committed to the terms of the accord.

The last telephone contact of the two diplomats was on past Tuesday.
