The black curtain of holy Ka’aba is lifted for the special white cloth to be installed as a sign for beginning of Hajj pilgrimage. Technically speaking Hajj pilgrims wear Ihram for performing the ritual but the holy construction is also covered in white accordingly to announce the beginning of the annual pilgrimage.
