Israeli occupiers have been manipulating the historical identity of older neighborhoods in Hebron al-Khalil. Besides imposing restriction on Palestinians, Israelis have been changing the names of older neighborhoods installing placards claiming Palestinian neighborhoods to be Jewish. They have also installed Israeli flags across the city.
