Solidarity of the ethnicities and denominations in Iran led the Islamic Revolution to the fifth decade of its life.

Mamusta Abdul Salam Emami, prayer leader of the Sunni community in Mahabad, in Iran’s West Azerbaijan Province, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) referred to achievements made in the four decades since victory of Islamic Revolution and highlighted solidarity as one of the keys behind victory of the great 1979 uprising of the Iranian nation.
He honored the late founder of Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (RA) as a political cleric who proved the right symbiosis of state and religion who did not pursue his personal interests.
“History proves when a nation unifies in one line, it will achieve victory” the Sunni prayer leader of Mahabad said adding,” Solidarity of the ethnicities and denominations in Iran led the Islamic Revolution to the fifth decade of its life.”
Mamusta Emami also highlighted the role of Imam Khomeini (RA) in building Islamic unity and said,” Solidarity among different Islamic denominations and determination of late Imam Khomeini (RA) were the prime reasons” and quoted world history researchers calling the late founder of Islamic Revolution as follower of Islamic unity pioneers like Seyyed Jamaleddin Asadabadi (1838-1897).
Iranian Sunni scholar also lauded the achievements made in politics, economy, culture, science, medicine and military affairs and underlined the infrastructures and welfare provided for the people, particularly the Sunni community in post-revolution era.
