Cleric vows positive outcomes of regional Islamic unity conference
Head of the Supreme Council at World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought hailed the first regional Islamic unity conference held in Iran’s Kurdistan province vowing the positive outcomes of the meeting across the world of Islam.

Mowlavi Es’haq Madani, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) said the first regional Islamic unity conference held in Sanandaj was another instance of solidarity among Shia and Sunni communities in Iran throughout years of coexistance under the flag of Islamic Republic.
He said,” The outcome of the meeting will boost unity among Muslims in Iran, the Middle East and will certainly affect people across the world of Islam.”
Top cleric reiterated that the convention of Shia and Sunni thinkers from Iran and Iraq will be a mighty response to plots by enemies of Isla.
Mowlavi Es’haq Madani expressed hope that the next meetings of Islamic denominations in other provinces across the country will annihiate Wahhabi ideology planned by enemies of Islam.
Held by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, the first regional Islamic Unity Conference gathered Shia and Sunni professors, religious figures and politicians from Iran and Iraq in one-day meeting in Sanandaj, Kurdistan province on Wednesday.
