International Tehran Qur’an exhibition unveils trilingual version of the book on Qur’anic verses introduce the functional aspect of Qur’an and defend the book against western desecrating moves.

Mahdi Qadami, a co-author of “Ask God” said the main approach in this book is to distance Qur’an from symbolic presuppositions in society to read Qur’an merely as a religious text, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said the book aims at familiarize the readers with the major function of the holy book of Islam, guidance for life.
According to Mahdi Qadami, thematic classification of the verses is one of the unique features of this book saying,” In this book, 6’236 verses of Qur’an are categorized based on subjects of the original, Persian and English versions of the verses for more ease of the readers to search a verse on a certain topic.”
“Ask God” divides the verses into seven sections on historical, economic, political, cultural, scientific, legal and also spiritual verses.
This co-author of the book stressed the title of the book, “Ask God”, as another unique feature of the book noting, “This title builds a kind of intimacy between the reader and Qur’an and helps the reader to easily pursue for a solution to his problems among Qur’anic verses.”
Mahdi Qadami said defending the honor of Qur’an as his objective for writing the book and said, “Some desecrating behaviors towards Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) or Qur’an burning in some western countries inspired me to make a move and introduce the functional aspect of Qur’an in daily life.”
“Ask God” is a joint effort of two Iranian authors Mahdi Qadami and Parviz MosallaNejad.
