According to Mostafa Kazemi, the contract has been signed between East Azarbaijan Science & Technology Park (EASTP) and Austrian Institute of Technology.
“The contract entails cooperation in the field of development of automotive parts technology,” he said, adding “the first phase of the project kicked off about three months ago at Rab'-e Rashidi Science & Technology Park in Tabriz.”
He added that following the cooperation on automotive parts, the two sides will sign contracts on development of aircraft and helicopter parts.
In this joint workshop, the Iranian automotive parts manufacturers will be exchanging related knowledge with the Austrian side, he said.
Technology transfer, cooperation on manufacturing and development of the production line are other fields of cooperation envisioned in the contract.
A training workshop between Iranian and European parts manufacturers is scheduled to be held in Austria by December, he added.
