Islamic unity on top of agenda in Afghanistan religious affairs

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, secretary general of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought called on Molavi Mohammad Gholam Masoun, member of Islamic Brotherhood Council of Afghanistan to maintain Islamic unity on top of the agenda of the council.

Senior cleric in a phone call with the top Sunni cleric stressed importance of pulpits to address Muslims from all denominations and urged for Islamic unity and appealing to the God Almighty on top of the Afghan council's agenda, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Iranian cleric expressed regret over martyrdom of Molavi Niazi and hailed the Sunni scholar for his contributions to promotion of Islamic unity.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari expressed hope for formation of a unified society in Afghanistan.
 
He called on all Afghan scholars for more active participation in religious ceremonies and social arenas.
