Ayatollah Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, head of Iran's judiciary in his speech the closing ceremony of 34th Islamic Unity Conference on "Islamic Cooperation in Face of Calamities and Disasters" held by the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought related on importance of unity as a strategy for the world of Islam, Islamophobia and American and British-style Islam as the challenges ahead of Muslim world.

Head of Iran's judiciary warned of the western think tanks for proposing Takfiri (excommunication) groups and launching and funding media, cyber network, television and radio channels as solution to stand against the world of Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He also referred to desecration of Islamic sanctities as another strategy proposed by the western think tanks to undermine Islamic resistance.
Top cleric counted Islamophobia and supportive stance for the west as two currents in present world.
He hailed the 1979 Islamic Revolution of Iran for awakening the regional countries and inspiring them to make a similar move against other regional tyrants stressing that once the people are awakened their awakening cannot be suppressed.
"Regional Muslim states showed their tendency to live the life of a Muslim and that they will not let the domineering powers to decide for them" said Ayatollah Raisi.
The cleric also touched upon the issue of Palestine expressing satisfaction that the right of Palestinian nation is pursued by Palestinian warriors at the battle field rather than at negotiation tables.
Ayatollah Raisi warned of the domineering power whose main strategy is division and said what comes against these powers is cooperation, compassion, unity and affection among Muslims.
According to head of Iran's judiciary Islam is not standing against Christianity or Judaism but against atheism and counted monotheism as the commonality of all Abrahamic religions.
"Elites should feel responsible towards Islamic unity so that the world of Islam recognizes threats and opportunities ahead" stressed the scholar.
Ayatollah Raisi also warned of American-style Shia and British-style Sunni for inflicting the most damage to Islam under in disguise of religion.
He called for active resistance of all Muslims Active resistance should be more active.
"We are challenged by an enemy who introduces the counter-terrorism hero, Lieutenant General Soleimani as a terrorist and justifies desecration of the highest character in Islam as freedom of expression" noted the cleric.
Ayatollah Raisi lauded the Shia and Sunni martyrs who contributed to promotion of Islamic unity and said," Unity will remain as a strategy."
In conclusion the top cleric called on Islamic countries for active cooperation and exchanges of medical experiences to fight the new coronavirus.
