"Division, crucial issue for Muslim world", Sunni cleric
Molavi Es'haq Madani, member of the supreme council at World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought censured some Arab states for normalization of ties with Israel and stressed division as number one issue in the world of Islam.

Top Iranian Sunni cleric, in his remarks at the closing ceremony of 34th Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran slammed the Muslim states for normalization of ties with Israel as others expect an opportunity to do the same, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He hailed the initiation of Islamic Republic of Iran for endeavors to promote Islamic unity and expressed regret that in general the world of Islam is plagued with division.
Molavi Es'haq Madani stressed," If French President would know that more than 40 Islamic countries are united to, for instance, temporarily call their ambassadors to Paris he would have never express an anti-Islamic stance.
Iranian Sunni scholar extended regret that no Muslim state would make a move against French President's support for sacrilegious cartoon mainly due to clashes within their countries or with another Muslim state.
According to the senior cleric the reason why enemies can inflict any damage to Muslim countries is that these states are killing each other with western-produced arms and find each other as enemies.

34th Islamic Unity Conference was held virtually, due to the new coronavirus outbreak, attended by hundreds of Muslim scholars and cultural figures from across the globe in 6-day event.
