Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, warned of the America-style Islam masterminded by enemies who aim to tarnish image of true Islam.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari who made the remarks at the closing ceremony of 34th Islamic Unity Conference held virtually due to the new coronavirus pandemic warned of enemies promoting the American-style of Islam, Zionist regime of Israel and Islamophobia as the issues plaguing the world of Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said," Enemies masterminded a fake version of Islam backed by the United States, Zionist regime and the western countries, launched extremist and Takfiri (excommunication) groups and struggled to represent a violent image of Islam."
The cleric warned of Islamophobia as the main objective of the enemies stressing freedom of expression as a pretext to promote the campaign.
He said," Launching Daesh and other terrorist groups, killing of the French teacher are all plots hatched by intelligent services of arrogant powers."
Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought noted Israeli regime as number one issue for the world of Islam and slammed its efforts to promote division among Muslims as part of measures to establish its dominance over the occupied lands.
Top scholar expressed regret that some Arab rulers fan the fire of oppression by Israeli regime in signing the normalization agreement with Tel Aviv regime and bringing double trouble for Muslim world.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari referred to the rhetoric of resistance and said," The rhetoric of resistance stands against war, economic sanction, plots for promoting insecurity on the borders and also dividing the religious and ethnical groups."

34th Islamic Unity Conference on "Islamic Cooperation in Face of Calamities and Disasters" ended its 6-day work on Monday November 2nd with hundreds of Muslim religious and cultural scholars from across the globe delivering speech in online meetings.
