Abdul-Wahhab al-Mahbashi told Lebanon's al-Mayadeen television on Thursday evening that his movement “will be part of the equation in defense of Jerusalem al-Quds" in the event of a new confrontation with Israel.
On June 3, Ansarullah leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said Yemenis are part of the al-Quds equation and will be effectively present in the battle against the Israeli regime.
The Ansarullah chief then praised Iran as the main supporter of resistance front in the region.
On June 6, the representative of Hamas resistance movement in Yemen expressed gratitude to the Yemeni people and government for supporting the Palestinian cause during the recent Israeli military offensive on the Gaza Strip, which claimed the lives of at least 260 people in the besieged enclave.
“We feel brotherhood and comfort in Yemen, and this indicates the Yemeni people’s love for Palestine and al-Aqsa Mosque,” Moaz Abu Shamala said during a meeting with Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a senior member of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, in Sana’a.
Abu Shamala said all signs confirm that the resistance is the right way to liberate occupied Palestine, Yemen Press Agency reported.
The spokesman for Iraq's anti-terror Kata'ib Hezbollah group says his fellow resistance fighters will use different weapons in case a war breaks out with the Israeli regime.
Speaking in an interview with al-Mayadeen TV on Thursday, Muhammad Mohi stressed the need for confronting Israel’s acts of aggression, noting that the Tel Aviv regime is trying to shift the conflict out of the occupied Palestinian territories.
“Israel cannot isolate Palestine, and feel safe from retaliation. Any front that the Zionist regime creates in the occupied al-Quds (Jerusalem) will give rise to other fronts in other areas. Gaza (Strip) will not be alone in a new war,” Mohi pointed out.
He added, “We are duty-bound to support the Palestinian nation and our sanctities ... Military confrontations are no more constrained with certain geographical boundaries given the presence of missiles and drones.”
Mohi stressed that the Axis of Resistance will thwart the arrangements and strategies which Tel Aviv had developed for itself.
Commenting on the Operation al-Quds Sword which Palestinian resistance groups launched during the confrontation, Mohi said they could impose new equations on the Israeli enemy.
“Now, it is the Axis of Resistance which sets up initiatives, and defines the rules of engagement… If a new war [with Israel] breaks out, geography will make sense then... The Israeli enemy cannot impose limitation on us, and cannot prevent us from conducting offensives,” the Kata'ib Hezbollah spokesman concluded.
