Palestinians hold Friday prayer in al-Quds Mosque amid tight security measures

Al-Quds Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs confirmed that the Friday prayer was held amid tight security measures as the Israeli forces were standing guard at the entrances to the holy mosque checking the identification certificates of the worshippers, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Israeli forces have reportedly prevented a number of worshippers from attending the Friday prayer.
This is while local sources in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron al-Khalil said Israeli forces attacked worshippers heading for the communal Friday prayer in Ibrahimi Mosque.
Israeli forces targeted Palestinians with teargas canisters and stun grenades to disperse the worshippers who finally performed the prayer outside Ibrahimi Mosque.
Hefzi Abu Sneineh, director of the Ibrahimi Mosque denounced Israeli attack against Palestinian worshippers.
