WHO warns of fatalities if COVID-19 spreads with current rate
World Health Organization (WHO) has warned of the massive fatality rate at the beginning of the next year if COVID-19 spreads at the current rate.

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, director general of the World Health Organization (WHO) announced a multiplied increase in infection cases reported only six months ago.
“Last week, the 200 million cases was reported to WHO, only six months after the world exceeded 100,000” he said expressing concern that the true number is much higher.
He warned of the future fatalities, likely to pass 300 million, if the pandemic infection spreads at the current rate next year.
Adhanom Ghebreyesus announced new endeavors to find new treatments for COVID-19 testing three new drugs by 600 hospitals in 52 countries across globe.
Canada, Finland, Indonesia, Malaysia and Philippines are among the countries participating in the trial of new drugs.
